Lyne Fortin has over 35 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry including executive and board level positions with biotechnology companies and on both small and large publicly listed companies. She has international experience across the US and Canada managing pharmaceutical assets in the US market and has been involved with various European initiatives.

Bringing broad expertise and experience in the commercialization of pharmaceutical assets and in business development arrangements, with a particular interest in innovation addressing unmet medical needs, she is perfectly placed to help Small Pharma recognise the huge potential of pioneering treatment. 

Her most recent roles include Senior Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer at Theratechnologies Inc. (TSX: TH, NASDAQ: THTX), member of the Board of Directors at Telesta Therapeutics Inc. (TSX: TST), and Vice-President and Board of Directors of Merck Canada where she worked most of her career. She is currently on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit US organisation, ADAP Advocacy Association (aaa+), that aims to improve access to care for persons living with HIV/AIDS.

Ms. Fortin holds a certificate in Chemistry and a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Montreal, as well as an MBA from Concordia University.
